I have BT FTTP with speeds upto 500MB. I already had Tp link wifi boosters when I had internet via sky but they can only manage speeds upto 300MB. Question is, Do I need to replace my boosters, as I seem to be only getting 10MB speeds when connected to them? Is this because my router has a bigger connection speed than the boosters can handle?
Replace the Old router’s power Adapter. Be sure you replace the old router’s power supply with the one that comes with the new router. You can buy routers wihich use the new wifi 6 standards but as yet few devices can take advantage of those facilities. To replace a Sky hub you need a modem router that can link to Sky lines who use an authentication system that is different from other isps. I like my Sky BB but the wireless signal is pretty weak upstairs. Today, I picked up a BT Home Hub router and I was wondering if I could now use it to replace my Netgear router?
